Menu For Hope announced their winners. You probably didn't hear much about it from me this year (I seem to have had a bit going on in December). But, I did make donations to them in honor of several of you. So busy was December that I didn't even get the little "I made a donation in your honor to Menu for Hope V, and you were entered in the drawing to win *this*" cards.

Ahh well, it just as well I didn't. Marty McCarty seems to have won all of your gifts. Actually, I didn't go through and cross-check, but when I skimmed through to see if my name (and therefore, yours) was on the list of winners, Marty McCarty was on virtually every "screen". That dude won probably 20 different things. Is he independently wealthy and made that many donations? Is he that lucky? Either way, would he like to be my friend - I've got LOADS of ideas for addressing hunger and such (like the Menu for Hope, but cooler of course)??

Okay, scratch that last aside, Menu for Hope is pretty darn cool. I'll be planning on it for next Holiday season. And here's to hoping I have the luck of Marty that it won't be as dramatic a December, and you'll get your cards next time.
